Deploy from your terminal
pnpm add -g @stechbd/servernpm install -g @stechbd/server- Windows
- Linux
- macOS
- TypeScript
Features
Deploy from disk, no Git host needed
Run stechbd edge deploy:prod and the local working tree is uploaded, built and served. Nothing has to be pushed to GitHub first, and .stechbdignore and .gitignore are respected.
Previews and one-step promote
Ship a named preview beside production, optionally on its own domain, then promote the tested preview to production as the same artifact. Remove it afterwards with stechbd preview rm.
Rollback
Return to the previous release with one command if a deploy misbehaves. The live runtime log can be followed in a terminal while you decide.
Built for CI
Every command takes --json. Exit codes are stable: 0 for success, 1 when refused or failed, 2 for usage errors and 3 for unsupported. Build logs are followed to the end and a failed build exits 1. Machine tokens let a pipeline deploy without a person.
Environment variables, done safely
Pull variables into .env.local with their scopes kept, and add values from stdin so secrets stay out of your shell history. Secrets are never command-line arguments.
Databases, backups and restore drills
Create a managed database, link its connection string into an app and run queries. Back up to S3 and run a restore drill that proves the archive restores. Cron jobs and DNS plan and apply are in the same tool.
The whole panel in one tool
221 commands in 27 groups cover every panel API endpoint: domains and Cloudflare CDN edge status, cache purge, users, roles, SSO, usage, cost estimates, analytics, Core Web Vitals and uptime. For anything else, stechbd api works like gh api.
stechbd.json, configuration that lives with your code
Commit buildCommand, installCommand, startCommand, publishDirectory, rootDirectory, port, healthPath, watchPath, buildCache and env declarations next to your source, the way vercel.json does. Secret values never go in it.

Installation
Install with pnpm or npm
Server CLI requires Node.js 20.12 or higher and has zero runtime dependencies. Install the stechbd binary globally with either package manager:
pnpm add -g @stechbd/servernpm install -g @stechbd/serverRun once without installing
Try it without a global install:
pnpm dlx @stechbd/server --helpnpx @stechbd/server --helpSign in and link
Sign in to your panel, then link the project folder to an app:
stechbd login --panel https://panel.example.com
stechbd link blog webDeploy from your disk
Deploy the working tree to production, then follow the build to its end:
stechbd edge deploy:prod
stechbd edge logsSupport

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
What is Server CLI (stechbd)?
Server CLI is the official command line for the S Technologies server panel. It installs the stechbd binary and lets you deploy, inspect and manage applications from a terminal, with 221 commands in 27 groups.
Is Server CLI a Vercel CLI alternative?
It covers the same terminal workflow: deploy, named previews, promote and rollback, environment variables and logs. The difference is where it runs: your apps are served from S Technologies Edge or Compute, on servers we operate and support in Bangla and English, and the same tool also manages databases, backups, DNS and the servers themselves.
Can I deploy without GitHub?
Yes. stechbd edge deploy:prod uploads your local working tree directly, so no Git host is required. Files listed in .stechbdignore or .gitignore are left out.
stechbd edge deploy:prodDoes it work in CI?
Yes. Create a machine token for the pipeline, use --json for parseable output and rely on the exit codes: 0 ok, 1 refused or failed, 2 usage, 3 unsupported. Build logs are followed to the end and a failed build exits 1. Destructive commands ask first, so scripts pass --yes.
stechbd token create ci --permission app.deployWhere does my app run?
On S Technologies Edge or on Compute. Both run on servers operated by S Technologies and are managed by the same panel this tool talks to.
What does it need?
Node.js 20.12 or higher, and either pnpm or npm. It has zero runtime dependencies and is written in TypeScript.
Is Server CLI open source?
Yes. It is released under the MIT License, the source is on GitHub and the package is published on npm.
Is there a config file like vercel.json?
Yes, stechbd.json. It is committed with your code and holds buildCommand, installCommand, startCommand, publishDirectory, rootDirectory, port, healthPath, healthCheck, watchPath, buildCache and env declarations. Secrets never go in it.
